Introduction
Hello and Welcome,
My name is Tiyunna Chambers. I recently graduated this past February from ECPI University with an Associates in Nursing. I’ve officially been a nurse for 6 weeks, passing my NCLEX the first week of April. I currently work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Chesapeake Regional Hospital, where I am building a strong foundation in critical nursing as I work toward my goal of becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Alongside my nursing career I am a Navy Veteran of 8 years and a licensed Master Esthetician. Prior to nursing school I had no healthcare experience, but I’ve always had a deep commitment to helping others and paying it forward.
I was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey and is the second oldest of 5 siblings and the first daughter. I moved to Virginia after honorably discharging from the Navy in 2020. I have a daughter who will be 2 in September and a wonderful Significant other. In my spare time I enjoy working out, exploring activities with my toddler, traveling and anything involving self-care; facials, makeup, massages, candle making, reading, wine tasting, you name it! A big goal of mine this year is to dedicate more time volunteering and giving back when I can.
